Crazy Days....

What looks like crazy on an ordinary day looks a lot like love if you catch it in the moonlight!

― Pearl Cleage,

When to bite your tongue!

Speak when you are angry and you will make the best speech you will ever regret.
~Ambrose Bierce

Nicely Said

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more.

Lord Byron

Voices in Your Head

The voice in your head is like a wild horse taking you wherever it wants to go. Once you tame the horse, you can ride the horse, and knowledge becomes a tool for communication that takes you where you want to go.

Don Miguel Ruiz

Voices in Your Head

Don Miguel Ruiz
The wilderness is not just a desert through which we wandered for forty years. It is a way of being. A place that demands being open to the flow of life around you. A place that demands being honest with yourself without regard to the cost in personal anxiety. A place that demands being present with all of yourself.
Lawrence Kushner

A Gold-Mended Life

When the Japanese mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold. They believe that when somethings suffered damage and has a history it becomes more beautiful.

Barbara Bloom

Letting Go - Something to practice in the new year

"some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go and then do it."
Ann Landers

Life

There must be more to life than having everything
Maurice Sendak
Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same.

The Fray

Contentment

We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have.

Frederick Keonig

Fears

Our deepest fears are like dragons guarding our deepest treasures.

Rainer Maria Rilke

Dreams....

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.
